"I was doing everything right but still felt wrong!"

"The Primary Cause of Illness is Emotion
And That Emotion is Shame."

Shame is the body's deepest form of guarding: a collapse of charge around the belief 'something is wrong with me.' In dielectric terms, it compresses the field, distorts flow, and teaches the system to hide, tighten, and self-suppress. Over time this creates chronic impedance—stuck breath, altered posture, poor regulation, fatigue, pain, and emotional shutdown. Shame drives imbalance because it turns life-energy inward against the self instead of allowing it to move. So many people tell me that they are doing everything right: they exercise, they supplement, meditate and are kind and compassionate but still they know something is still wrong. This is mostly because there is an underlying shame programme, that was written in the field so early in childhood that no therapy or practice can get to it. This is why movement, and especially fascial manouevers™ work. They return the body back to safety and flow.

Fascial Release Exercises for Stress, Tension & Trauma
Fascial-led integrative coaching for people enduring stress in the body, emotions and nervous system — helping you release tension and trauma, regulate your system and rebuild from the inside out.
Book a Body-Led Clarity Session
The Problem
When stress becomes your normal, the body adapts by guarding.
Stress is never just mental; it is a bio-electric state of guarding. We overlook it because we treat it as an emotion, but it is actually a physical "stress suit" of high-density tension locked in your fascia.
.Failed gym memberships, fad diets, 100 apps to calm your mind. Nothing provides you with any lasting happiness. We are using the mind to solve a body problem. Unless you feel safe the body sill not let go. The primary function of the fascia is to embody experience. If your experiences are stressful you must start with the body and with movement. My work starts there—restoring safety to the circuitry so the body can finally uncoil.
Stress manifests in your body as:
  • Tight jaw, neck or shoulders
  • Shallow or held breath
  • Pressure in the chest or gut
  • Persistent fatigue or flatness
  • Emotional numbness or reactivity
  • The feeling of constantly bracing
  • Difficulty switching off or settling
Positioning
A different route into change.
This is not counselling, massage, yoga or traditional stress management. It is a fascial-led approach that integrates sacred wisdom of the Tao, neuroscience and Human Garage-certified fascial manoeuvres. This is nervous-system education, body awareness and grounded coaching. Any experience that you pulled back from will have left an impression on your fascia - this needs to be released
The aim is not simply to relax for an hour and return to the same patterns. The aim is to help you understand how stress is being carried through the body, how your nervous system responds under pressure, and by directly releasing hidden stresses and traumas, you learn how to heal yourself. You begin your journey back to wholeness - from protection to presence.
For people who have carried too much for too long — and are ready to change from the body up.
Why This Work Is Different
Three pillars of a grounded methodology.
Fascial-Led
Fascia is the body’s primary scaffolding—the living strata within which every other system is held, organised, and supported. Under prolonged stress, the system "guards," causing this architectural matrix to lose its fluid glide and become a map of your past compromises.
This work uses Integrative Fascial Maneuvers to restore the system’s natural flow. Rather than working around the problem, we work directly with the body’s fundamental circuitry to uncoil the patterns that keep you stuck.
Human Garage Certified
Inspiring a billion people to heal themselves. The approach is certified by Human Garage — a practical, body-led and hands-on method using simple fascial manoeuvres designed to support self-release, awareness and regulation.
This gives the work a specific, evidence-informed foundation rather than a generic wellness approach, grounding each session in a clear and purposeful framework.
The science supports the work and the results prove why.

Integrative Coaching
Physical release is only one part of the process. Sessions also include reflection, coaching and integration — so that body awareness can become a real, lasting change in how you respond, relate, choose and move forward.
Embodiment is the key to lasting change, integrating ancient wisdom - the best of yoga - the best of mindfulness and meditation and the best of metaphysics
The body the mind and the environment are not treated as separate. They are worked with together.
Who This Is For
This may be for you if…
You feel constantly tense, wired, tired or overwhelmed
You carry stress physically — in your jaw, shoulders, chest, gut, back or hips
You struggle to switch off even when life slows down
You feel emotionally shut down, reactive or disconnected from yourself
You have tried talking, thinking or pushing through — and still feel stuck
You are navigating burnout, grief, separation, identity change or life transition
You want a grounded approach that includes the body, emotions and nervous system
You are ready to take responsibility for your own regulation, release and reconstruction

This work is for people who do not just want to cope better. They want to understand what they are carrying — and begin releasing it.
The Method
Release. Regulate. Reconstruct.
The work follows a simple but deep process. Not forced. Not performative. Not abstract. A grounded progression from body awareness to nervous-system regulation to meaningful personal change.
Release
We begin with the body. Using easy to follow fascial manoeuvres and guided body awareness, you learn to notice where stress, tension and protective patterns may be showing up physically. The focus is on gentle, self-led release — not forcing, fixing or bullying the body.
Regulate
Once the body begins to soften, we work with the nervous system. You learn how stress responses shape your breathing, posture, emotions, energy and decision-making — and fascial manouevers become your personal practical tools for grounding, balance and self-connection. Regulation creates the conditions for deeper change.
Reconstruct
As the body and nervous system begin to shift, coaching helps you embody and integrate the changes into your life. This is where we explore identity, boundaries, pressure, purpose and the version of yourself you are becoming — returning to yourself with more clarity, strength and choice. You become the author of your own story - you dream the life you wish to live and now you start living it.

The Dielectric Model of Illness
A new way of understanding your body — and why you feel the way you do

1. The Body as a Living Capacitor
Imagine your body is less like a car and more like a biological battery or a radio antenna.
To hold a charge, a battery needs a structure that can separate and store energy. In physics, this is called a dielectric. In your body, this role is played by your fascia.
Fascia is not just 'connective tissue.' It is the primary scaffolding of your body—the continuous, web-like matrix within which every cell, nerve, and organ is held. It is a liquid-crystalline structure that conducts electricity and holds charge. When this scaffold is open and fluid, your body acts like a high-fidelity antenna: charge flows freely, signals are clear, and you feel alive, coherent, and whole.
2. What Is Illness?
In this model, illness is rarely just a 'germ' or a 'broken part.' It is almost always a failure of the charge to flow.
When your system is healthy, charge moves in a balanced rhythm between expansion and contraction, activity and rest, giving and receiving. We call this the Dipole.
Illness happens when this rhythm gets stuck. The charge stops flowing and becomes trapped in specific areas of the scaffold. We call this Impedance.
Think of it like a garden hose: if the hose is open, water flows and the garden thrives. If the hose is kinked, pressure builds up behind the kink and the garden downstream dries out. The problem isn't the water — the problem is the kink. In your body, the 'kink' is Guarding.

3. Guarding: The Root of the Kink
Guarding is your body's natural response to stress, trauma, or overwhelm. When you feel unsafe—physically or emotionally—your fascia tightens to protect you. You pull in, stiffen up, and hold your breath.
This is helpful in a moment of crisis. But if the stress continues, or if the event passes but the body doesn't get the signal to let go, the guarding becomes permanent. The fascia crystallizes around the tension. The 'kink' stays in the hose.
Over time, this guarding creates Collapsed Atoms in your tissue: points where the expansive energy of life has been compressed into dense, stagnant matter. This density is what you feel as pain, stiffness, fatigue, or emotional heaviness.
🔥 Hot Illness — Excess Push / Overcharge
What it feels like: Inflammation, sharp pain, anxiety, high blood pressure, restlessness, burnout.
The system is trying to 'push' charge through a blocked pathway. Pressure builds up, creating heat and friction — like a wire overheating because the current can't get through.
Common examples: Acute injuries, migraines, hypertension, rage, insomnia.
❄️ Cold Illness — Excess Pull / Undercharge
What it feels like: Chronic fatigue, depression, numbness, stiffness, brain fog, weakness, feeling 'flat.'
The system has 'pulled' back so hard that the charge can't move at all. The battery is drained, or the flow is frozen — like a pipe that's iced over.
Common examples: Chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, frozen joints, hypothyroidism, immune suppression.
Many people oscillate between the two: wired but tired, inflamed but exhausted — the system flipping frantically between push and pull, unable to find balance.

5. Why Conventional Approaches Often Miss the Mark
If your problem is a kinked hose, adding more water (supplements) won't help. Trying to think your way out of the kink (mindset work) won't help. Even massage that only works on the surface might temporarily soften the hose, but if the deeper guarding pattern remains, the kink returns.
You have to uncoil the kink at its source.
6. The Solution: Movement Is Life
The body is designed to self-correct, but it needs the right signal. That signal is Movement — not exercise in the sense of burning calories, but kinetic uncoiling.
01
Pin & Lock
Isolate the guarding pattern
02
Apply Torsion
Gently stress the stuck tissue
03
Breathe
Pressurize the system from the inside out
04
Release
Allow charge to redistribute freely
7. The Takeaway
You are not broken. You are not defective. You are a high-capacity, living antenna that has learned to guard against life.
Illness is simply your body's way of telling you that the flow has been compromised. It is a signal to look deeper, to find the guarding, and to restore the movement that proves you are alive.
When you uncoil the resistance, the body remembers how to heal itself.
The Field - you are the Matrix
Think of your body as a living field that responds to the "weather" of your feelings. Emotions aren't just thoughts; they are the primary currents that shape your internal landscape.
When we feel safe and loved, our system expands and flows. But when we experience difficult emotions—like fear or shame—it’s like a sudden frost in the garden. Our body instinctively pulls inward to protect itself, "guarding" the heart or the belly. If that feeling stays unresolved, the guarding becomes a habit. That gentle pulling back eventually turns into a "stuckness" that blocks our natural energy. Illness is simply the body's way of showing us where a feeling has been held too tightly for too long. By gently moving, we aren't just stretching; we’re inviting those frozen feelings to soften and flow back into the wholeness of who we are.

Praise for Hypnotised to Death
"One of the single most enlightening literary reads of modern times and the confusion therein, this book is a companion and important aid to comprehending the question of who we truly are and what we can effectively achieve from within. Through the simple acknowledgment of renewing what we understand to be our own minds, one man's account of his own life and the individual struggles and turmoils of self-suffering—and the dark places within that so many of us encounter in our own lives—has been expertly pieced together and simplified to serve all who read it." - Anthony Thomas

The Man Behind the Work
If you're looking for a purely conventional approach to health, change, or personal development, I'm probably not the obvious choice — and that's exactly the point.
I bring a grounded, integrative, and deeply human approach to the work I do. I'm curious by nature, practical by experience, and far more interested in what is true than in what is fashionable. I tend to look beneath the surface of things — beneath symptoms, habits, stress patterns, and even the stories people have learned to tell themselves about who they are and why they feel the way they do.
My life and work have taught me that people are rarely "broken" in the way they think they are. More often, they are carrying strain, conditioning, and unresolved patterns that have settled into the body over time. That understanding has shaped the way I work: with honesty, depth, compassion, and a strong respect for the intelligence of the body.
I'm a former soldier and RAF Officer, an author, an integrative coach, and someone whose own path has included serious physical injury, recovery, reinvention, and a great deal of direct experience with challenge and change. I know what it means to rebuild from difficulty, and I know that real transformation is rarely neat, linear, or purely mental. It involves the whole being.
That is why I'm drawn to integrative bodywork and Fascial Maneuvers™. I'm fascinated by the relationship between stress, posture, breath, tension, behaviour, and perception — and by the point where physical change starts to open mental and emotional change too. I care about clarity, coherence, and helping people find their way back to themselves in a way that is practical and sustainable.
In quieter moments, when the usual noise of life settles, I'm often reminded that much of what holds people back is not lack of ability, but accumulated pressure, adaptation, and the habit of living too far from what is real. My work is about helping people reduce that pressure, restore trust in their own system, and move forward with more freedom.
I value depth over performance, truth over image, and lived experience over empty theory. I'm not interested in surface-level fixes. I'm interested in what genuinely helps people breathe better, move better, think more clearly, and live with more ease.
I thought I was once broken, but now I see that I was always whole — and that has changed the way I meet both life and work.

A bit more of the Story
PaulAbram
PaulAbram is an author, integrative coach, and body-led transformation practitioner whose work has grown out of a lived transition from externally defined identity to intuitive self-knowledge. Based in the UK Midlands, he works one-to-one with clients facing complex neurological and systemic challenges, delivering daily online sessions and workshops for those seeking to restore the body's living matrix back to flow.
For PaulAbram, the path to this work was not linear; it was a descent and a rebirth. His earlier life followed a recognisably mainstream arc: over 20 years of military service defined by duty, structure, performance, and the belief that identity was something to be earned, proven, or defended. That period now feels like a memory from a past life—a previous incarnation that provided a foundational understanding of endurance, but one he has since transcended. In his book, Hypnotised to Death: Trance-Ending Freedom, PaulAbram describes this era as a life lived largely on autopilot, shaped by conditioning, inherited beliefs, and what he came to call "the imposter"—the constructed self that reacts to life while mistaking itself for the real person.
The turning point came through crisis. After leaving the military, and following years of physical, emotional, and psychological pressure, PaulAbram reached the edge of suicide. Rather than becoming an ending, that moment became the beginning of a radical reorientation. In the silence beneath accusation, shame, and self-loathing, he heard something quieter and clearer: that his life still had purpose. That experience became the seed of his work. The book records the first major articulation of his shift: from intellect to intuition, from imposed identity to direct awareness, from personal suffering to service.
Since writing the book, that original awakening has continued to mature into a distinctive body-led approach. PaulAbram no longer works solely with the mind because he recognised that old patterns are not just thought—they are held in the tissue. His current practice synthesises psychological depth with structural integrity, weaving together threads of hypnotherapy, energetic regulation, nutrition, and now Fascial Maneuvers through his certification with Human Garage. This partnership has given practical form to the deeper realisation first expressed in his writing: that freedom is not found by reinforcing the identity that suffers, but by loosening the patterns that keep it in place.
His work is especially shaped by lived experience. PaulAbram speaks not as a distant observer, but as someone who has navigated military invaliding, long-term spinal and joint degeneration, CPTSD, addiction recovery, and the complexities of fatherhood and grandfatherhood. Since the age of eleven, he has lived with significant spinal problems—structural issues that were masked for decades by high-functioning AuDHD. This neurological "masking" allowed him to perform at a high level while his physical architecture was systematically collapsing at the atomic level. The moment he saw this compensation for what it was marked the birth of his current driver: justice for the body and mind.
Today, PaulAbram has reimagined clinical frameworks such as the Tensegrity-Vestibular Integration (TVI) Loop and the Dielectric Intelligence model to help the brain recognise and integrate fascial change in complex cases like PSP-Richardson's and Stage IV Cancer. He uses his own body as a living laboratory, having undertaken extensive personal experiments including five-day dry fasting, total sensory deprivation, prolonged meditation, and ceremonial plant medicine. These were not feats of endurance, but systematic investigations to understand how intelligence and structure reorganise themselves when external obstructions are removed.
PaulAbram's life and work trace a clear arc: from warrior, to collapse, to seeker, to guide. From mainstream narrative to intuition. From survival to service. From being hypnotised by life to helping others wake up inside their own. His role is not to "heal," but to remove the static and obstruction from the biological scaffolding so that the singular Intelligence within—already whole and complete—can express itself through a more faithful instrument. For Human Garage, PaulAbram represents a bridge between deep physics, ancient wisdom, and the practical reality of restoring the human system to its natural state of flow.

About the work
Grounded in lived experience and certified practice.
I work with the “exhausted”—people who are fed up with trying everything and never getting the results they were promised. Stress is the number one killer of human beings. Stress is primarily inflammation that leads to loss of function which in turn leads to immobility and stagnation. And let's face it stagnation is just another word for death. I felt like I was dying inside with no where and no one to turn to. I tell the full story in my first book Hypnotised to Death.
I approach this from the ground up - literally I look at your feet and balance - the feet have 200,000 nerve endings that feed enormous amounts of data to the brain - but only if they are healthy and connected to the ground.
Then I look at your primary pattern - are you hiding or are you trying to be seen. One pattern leads to burn out one one leads to chronic stress from internalising and never expressing authentically.
There comes a point where the old ways of coping simply fail. Thinking harder doesn't create peace, and pushing through or bullying the body only increases the internal blocks. Talking does bring insight, but the body often remains locked in a story it doesn't know how to stop telling.
My own path taught me that true transformation is never just a mental process; it is a systemic reset of our physical, emotional, and energetic circuitry. This realisation—that movement is life—is what brought me to Human Garage and the mission of helping others uncoil the compromises of their past.
What guides the work
  • Human Garage-certified fascial methodology
  • Nervous-system education and regulation
  • Grounded, integrative coaching
  • Body-led self-awareness practices
  • Lived experience of stress and reconstruction
My role is to guide the process — helping you reconnect with your body, understand your patterns and rebuild from a place of greater balance, intuition and self-trust.

Hypnotised to Death: Trance-ending Freedom
Hypnotised to Death: Trance-Ending Freedom is a profound exploration of awakening, self-discovery, and liberation from the deeply entrenched illusions that bind us. Written by a British Military Veteran after he was disabled from duty and became seasoned hypnotherapist with a passion for understanding consciousness, this book invites readers on an intimate journey of reflection, insight, and transformation. Through deeply personal anecdotes, philosophical musings, and spiritual revelations, the author reveals a path to reclaiming the authentic self.
At its core, this book challenges the pervasive notion of life as a physical, material experience. Instead, it presents the bold truth that we are not bodies housing spirits but consciousness itself, living through the physical universe. The author skilfully dismantles the "virus" of conditioning that creates suffering and separation, showing how this illusion keeps humanity trapped in cycles of unhappiness and discord. Through his personal experiences, he demonstrates how awakening to our true nature can dissolve these barriers and unlock a life of boundless freedom and joy.
Awaken to you true potential: A Sobering Guide to Addressing Men's Mental Health
In a world that demands men be strong yet silent, resilient yet emotionless, and leaders without vulnerability, the essence of true masculinity has been buried beneath societal expectations. Who are we beneath the weight of conditioning? How do we reconcile strength with sensitivity? And most importantly, how do we heal?
This book is a raw and transformative guide for men seeking to break free from the inherited burdens of shame, guilt, and repression. Drawing from lived experience and a deep understanding of mind, body, and spirit, Awaken Your True Potential explores:
- The crisis of modern masculinity and how men’s roles are being redefined—and diluted.
- The birthright of manhood—strength, presence, confidence, and the divine responsibility of protection.
- How losing touch with innocence distorts identity, creativity, and authentic self-expression.
- The power of ancient and modern healing practices—breathwork, cold therapy, sound frequency healing, Taoist energy work, Kundalini awareness, and deep psychotherapeutic transformation.
- How to turn emotional and physical stressors into tools for self-care rather than self-destruction.
- Why vulnerability is not weakness but the gateway to personal growth, deeper relationships, and true resilience.
Through an honest and sobering reflection, this book is not just a guide—it’s a call to action. A challenge to men everywhere to reclaim what was lost, to awaken their true power, and to rediscover the innocence and vitality that has always existed within them.

What the Stars Say
Billionaires read the stars millionaires read the markets.

What the Stars Say (Astrology)
16-degree Aries | Moon is at 0° Leo | Virgo Rising | Sun in the 8th House | The biggest surprise? Gemini Midheaven.

I’ve never really looked at astrology before, but I’ve been digging into my birth chart, and I have to say—the "pattern recognition" is pretty surprising. I’m finding that even the stars have a say in this bio-electric journey I’m on.
It turns out I’m a 16-degree Aries, but with some interesting twists.
I found out my Moon is at 0° Leo. Apparently, that’s a "critical degree"—the purest, most concentrated "heart of a lion" energy. It explains a lot about this "Yin" man who still feels the push to stand up, hit record, and share his heart, even when it’s uncomfortable. It’s that raw need to express the truth of the "Now."
Then there’s my Virgo Rising. That’s the "Craftsman" lens. It’s why I’m so obsessed with the 100 trillion nerve endings and the exact mechanics of how fascia moves. It makes me my own toughest critic, but it’s also the part of me that wants to be a healer and a bridge-builder.
My Sun is in the 8th House, which is all about the "hidden" side of life—metaphysics and transformation. It explains why "surface-level" fitness never did it for me. I’ve always been drawn to the deeper truths, the stuff people usually keep in the dark—like the bio-electric power of our own tissues.
The biggest surprise? My Gemini Midheaven. It says my "calling" is actually through language, communication, and sharing ideas. So these videos and "playing with words" isn't just a hobby—it’s actually the path I’m supposed to be on.
There’s a bit of a "tug-of-war" in there, too—an internal push-pull between the Aries warrior who wants to go-go-go and the Leo heart that wants to be felt. But as I’m learning with these Fascial Maneuvers, the best way to resolve that tension is to just let go of the "ID" of both and be the container for the dance.
It’s all feeling very aligned as I head toward my coaching certification. Sometimes you have to look at the macro-field to understand the micro-field of your own body.
